Royce Quad was once an epicenter of student life at UCLA. Now, in the digital age, the Quad is an attempt to recreate these discussion spaces online. Come to the Quad for analysis, explanation and student narratives about life on and off campus, within and without Westwood.
Students are welcome to submit blog posts at [email protected]. Submissions are subject to the same guidelines for opinion content, with the exception of increased flexibility for word count (300-900 words).

This year not only marks 100 years of UCLA but 100 years of women voting in the United States. With a presidential election around the corner, it’s important to look back on the strides made in suffrage in the United States, such as women earning the vote with the passage of the 19th amendment.
